| Applications accepted | In observation of the state administration health codes and child care licensing, the following will be admitted pending approval from the appropriate health authority and at the discretion of the sniffles & snuggles® nurse: diarrhea without multiple symptoms, breathing difficulties, vomiting lasting no more than 6 hours, temperatures of 101 or higher without another symptom. children with strep throat, ear infection, and/or pink eye (only after being treated with antibiotics by a physician for at least 24 hours). children 1-12 years of age with a fever of 102 or less may be admitted with a physician's note. common cold, flu, sore throats and minor injuries will be admitted under the discretion of the sniffles & snuggles® nurse. children are placed in warm and friendly rooms isolated according to their illness. |
| Acceptance criteria: | Sniffles and Snuggles accepts children 3 months to 12 years old. CCLC must have a signed treatment release form and current immunization records before a child's first visit to Sniffles and Snuggles. Generally these forms are filled out upon registration of the child to CCLC |
