Director's Comments
Question to director: Do you have any additional thoughts on what parents should consider when looking at your school? Is there any advice that you would like to provide to prospective parents?
Hilltop provides very low ratios, 1 teacher for 5 children ages 2 1/2-3 1/2, and 1 teacher for every 6 or 7 children ages 3 1/2-5.
We also have a before and after school program serving children in kindergarten through age 10, and most of the children in that program come from the preschool classes.
Our staff have extensive professional development opportunities and see themselves as partners with families in meeting the needs of children. We have an internationally recognized mentor teacher on our staff who works closely with our teachers on professional and curriculum development.
We are a member of the Child Care Guild of SEIU 925, and provide our staff with livable wages and benefits.
