Parents' Comments
Parent #1
As a community we all take care of each other. The wonderful caring teachers foster an environment to guide and nurture our children to be proud, respectful, and ready to take on the world. Our community recognizes the importance of teacher retention and strives to offer unsurpassed benefits and salary. These are not just goals to create very satisfied families and staff, they are Greentree's philosophies. Objectives of the program: 1)To allow children to express themselves creatively. 2)To encourage them to develop language ability. 3)To help children develop the use of small and large motor skills. 4)To provide children opportunities to do problem solving. 5)To foster social and emotional health, helping children to build healthy attitudes for themselves and others. 6)To provide opportunities for them to expand their knowledge of the world. 7)To instill a love of learning.

There was some significant turnover at the beginning of the year, with a new director and administrative staff coming in. Everything seems to be functioning well now, however. The greatest strength of this preschool is it's emergent curriculum that meets children where they are and encourages them to develop strong problem solving skills. It also provides Breakfast, lunch and two snacks daily, all vegetarian.
