Director's Description to School's Approach to Discipline
We are committed to the positive mental, physical and emotional growth of children and through discipline children learn rules, boundaries and self-awareness. We use limit setting, consistency, tone and modeling constantly in the classroom. We will redirect a child towards appropriate activities and help others in generating options and solutions. We believe in natural consequences and validating the feelings of all involved.
Director's Response to a Sample Discipline Scenario
Description of how teachers handle the following scenario: Child A and Child B are good friends and usually play together. One day, Child A decides to play with Child C and tells Child B, 'I don't want to play with you today. I'm playing with Child C instead.'
When there is a conflict such as this one, the teachers help the children learn to problem solve with their peers and through self regulation.

The only play area available is in the church cloister - misc. toys, bikes, chalk. School needs a complete overhaul to meet an average condition.
