Parents at this school, on average, believe that conflicts between children:
...are handled extraordinarily well in a way that not only gives me confidence in the safety of my child but also reassures me that my child (and his/her peers) are learning the early skills needed to socialize effectively with one another

Director's Description to School's Approach to Discipline
We take a brain development approach, helping children learn first to manage their emotions and then to develop strategies for handling conflict.
Parents' Notes on Discipline, Health and Safety
Parent #1
This is a very small school, but the space is very well utilized. The outdoors space, while tiny, has very distinct areas for different kinds of play: An area stocked with shiny pebbles and dump trucks (which is occassionally the site of a mattress the kids delight in jumping on), a sand box, a playhouse (often turned into a coffee shop or store) and a 'wilder' area in the back of the garden that the children call 'el bosque' (the forest). There, they balance on logs, search for worms, and let their imaginations soar.
Parent #2
Las Olas just opened in 2007 so everything is new, including the space which was completely renovated.
Parent #3
The school is lucky to have ample outdoor space. The back-most garden area, which the children call the "bosque" or "woods", has fruit bearing trees, logs to balance on, a house made of sticks, a giant wooden xylophone, a vegetable garden, a mud pit, and all the butterflies, insects, spiders and worms to delight young explorers.
