Director's Description to School's Approach to Discipline
The school?s behavioral expectations are based on understanding of child development and individual differences between children. Limits are clear and there are as few ?no?s? and ?don?ts? as possible. Children are taught that they may not be destructive of materials and toys, or do what is dangerous to themselves, or physically or emotionally damaging to others. The staff models and positively reinforces, the kinds of behaviors we wish children to learn. Teachers work closely with each other and with parents to ensure consistent expectation within school and between home and school.
Parents' Notes on Discipline, Health and Safety
Parent #1
I know they clean each night, but I do not have information as to the degree of cleaning. As to the questions relating to assisting my child in development of sitting longer and paying attention ..., I believe this school would help children, but my child had been at another school and already had developed these skills.
Parent #2
It's a small school but makes excellent use of it's exisiting space.
