Because the school is a small school, the staff recognizes who the parents are, so screening isn't usually a problem. Because some of the kids have two working parents who cannot afford to take time off from work, sometimes kids who have a cold are still allowed to attend. However, there are standard policies which are followed as to what symptoms the kids have and whether or not they will be allowed to attend based on the symptoms. For example, if your child has a fever, they cannot attend.
