As a play-based school, children pursue the activities they wish. During the first hour, there is always an activity that can be art, science, cooking, and the children also can just play with their classmates (with supervision, of course). Each age group receives a formal music lesson once a week from a music specialist funded by parent fundraising activities. The children also have music frequently with the guitar-playing rabbi. The schedule also incorporates at least an hour in the yard every day, circle time, story time, and lunch time (where children can work on table manners, conversation, and so on with the guidance of the teachers, who eat with them).
